1. Introduction

Welcome to OverBlock!
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (overblock.io) and our products, including API services, data exports, and managed indexers.

By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Overview

We provide three primary services:

  1. API Access — token-based API with pay-as-you-go billing via your account dashboard.
  2. Data Delivery — custom exports to databases, S3, CSV, or other agreed formats.
  3. Dedicated Indexers — infrastructure and data models managed by OverBlock for individual clients.

Each product may include additional service-specific agreements.

3. Account and Access

You may register using Google or GitHub OAuth.
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
  • Cause harm to our systems or other users
  • Fail to pay invoices or exceed plan limits

We reserve the right to close accounts at our discretion.
Fees are non-refundable.

4. Billing and Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe.
We do not store card details.

All prices are shown in EUR. VAT may apply for EU residents.

You authorize OverBlock to charge your account according to your selected plan or usage.
No refunds or partial credits are provided once a payment is processed.

5. Use of the API and Data

You agree to use the API responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws.

You may cache and analyze data for your own business needs but may not:

  • Resell or redistribute API data
  • Use data to train machine learning or AI models
  • Conduct penetration tests without consent
  • Circumvent usage limits or authentication

Fair-use and rate limits apply. Excessive or abusive use may result in throttling or suspension.

6. Data Exports and Ownership

Custom exports and dedicated indexers are tailored to each client.
Once data is delivered, it becomes the property of the client.
OverBlock retains no responsibility for its further processing or redistribution.

We do not provide warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, or future availability of blockchain data.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability and stability but provide the service on a best-effort basis.
Downtime or maintenance may occur without prior notice.

OverBlock is not liable for losses caused by interruptions, latency, or data inaccuracies.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform code, API designs, and documentation remain OverBlock’s intellectual property.
You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable right to use the API and related materials per your subscription.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED
  • DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE
  • YOUR USE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS

You use OverBlock at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OverBlock shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed €100 EUR or the amount you paid in the last billing cycle.

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may close your account anytime.
OverBlock may suspend or terminate access without refund if these Terms are violated or at its discretion.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus and the European Union.
Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Cyprus.
